Biography: R.S. Nanda Kumar, born in 1960 in Bhadravathi, Karnataka, is a fourth-generation musician from the Tyagaraja lineage and son of Mahamahopadhyaya Dr. R. Sathyanarayana. Renowned for reviving ancient Indian music forms like Gadya, Suladi, and Kriti, he is the only musician in India performing complex Avadhana Tala Pallavis.
